| so the global night commute ( invisiblechildren.com ) was pretty much the neatest thing. the dallas commute was HUGE and i hope they were all very affective **crosses fingers**. we shall see. until then prayer=power. Some icing to the cake was that i met some of the most amazing people and had some of the most fun conversations. a game of ultimate that started with about 5 turned into a game of about 25 haha i have the lip and foot injuries to prove it. LOADS of fun. ummm we were staying on a baseball field and apparently they didnt factor in the SPRINKLERS!! haha it was remarkable to see the place of about 900 jump up and scream in contagion as the sprinklers started up. we then made concrete our ally. i did some endurance praise and worship hehe. i might have become annoying but i just couldnt stop. give praise where it is due i say. anyway, it was very encouraging and hopeful to see the piles of letters and artwork that will be sent out for these children and uganda. i think this was a great great effort and an overall memorable experience. hope to have made some good new friends in the process. | Now that i havent written for entirely too long, maybe i can feel more special with it ;). not that i dont appreciate comments and communication, but thats what facebook is for haha. Anyway, so this semester is almost over......i absolutely cannot wrap my mind around that. SO very much has happened that i can't even begin to write an entry about it. So in a broad sense, i learned a lot. there was much growing and with that- growing pains. I am excited about the future though. All in all.....God is so very good. | | |
| So i figure new surroundings call for a FINALLY new xanga entry :) I got everything moved in this weekend and classes start tuesday. To say the very least i'm pee-your-pants excited. My roomie's name is Rachael and she's straight lol. I think it's a good match compatability-wise. Lookin forward to a good first semester :). Jeremy's comin tonight to see me haha i feel so loved!! My mommy was emotional when they went home without me :( and called about 15 minutes afterward and said "wait....i dont think im ready to talk to you yet." haha and then called back when she was composed. It was too cute. I have a great family. Praise Him. I'm coming home this weekend for George's birthday though so it really is ridiculous. I can't say enough how very excited i am. Feels good to finally be here (not necessarily meant for TWU) more at this point in life. God couldnt be greater to me right now :) I LOVE ANYONE READING THIS (and so many more too, so if you know them or see them, tell them for me)!! There is something worse than failing before men, and that is succeeding in something that doesnt matter to God. | | |

| HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I have'nt updated in ages, but i figure a holiday is a good time to jump back in. Choir tour was a blast! I had so much fun with everyone. Makes it harder to be leaving next semester though  . I love you Leah, Laci, and Sarah (my roomies). The UT game was scary. The whole first half we played like OU (oops....did i say that outloud?  teehehe Laci) but of course came back for yet another Texas victory. Mavericks vs. Pistons game woulda been a lot cooler if it hadnt been a pre-season game, but hey. Ebarasing story: so we went to an oprah on the OU campus, and Laci and I started laughing for one reason or another.....this resulted in a giant snort via ME! OOBER awkward!! I felt horrible; like i had desecrated the importance of an art or something lol. I'm ready for tonight. Lauren and I are gonna have a crazy good time becasue we're geniuses. We're gonna make a giant nest in her front yard and hide in it as birds. When kids come trick or treating we're gonna jump out and squawk ferociously haha! (will add tales of the nights revels aftfer they have occured) DON"T EAT FUNNY LOOKING CANDY! and have a great halloween! | | |
